Restrict the impact of vehicles on Earth

Idea statement

NexGeC project is based on one report : present car has a huge impact on Mother Earth. Moreover, the announce of Oil End make us think it will be obsolete soon.

So, we suggest:

To create a low Earth impact car - as a result, without any oil usage for fuel
To create an as-large-as-possible-community designed car (ideally, the community of current car users)
To create an open-source car according to GPL license
To create a car which interest as many person as possible (ideally, the great majority of reguler light vehicle users : personal cars, van, small trucks, etc.)

It is advisable that NexGeC project should be as indépendant as possible:

Independent from energy vendors (and first of all : oil)
Independent from car vendors
Independent from all interest groups but users group itself
Independent from stock exchange

Last but not least, some important details to emphasize:

NexGeC should not be yet another conceptual project ; the aim is to create a vehicle for the masses
NexGeC is a serious project, not a fashion
NexGeC is managed in several languages
